The patient experienced a grand mal seizure while in the second year of internship as medical doctor at Groote Schuur Hospital.
The trust assists financially with 12 Physio Therapy sessions and 24 Occupational Therapy sessions.
This patient has returned to work at the beginning of September but is struggling, physically, emotionally and with everyday practicalities. The Trust will assist with another 8 Physiotherapy sessions to maximize her functioning at work.
