Ms Pikela is a student and was involved in a motor vehicle accident in September 2018.
She has a spinal cord injury and she has no movement of her lower limbs. She worked hard in the rehabilitation centre to practice transfer from bed to wheelchair. She wants to be as independent as possible.
The Inner strength Trust gave financial support to buy vital equipment to maximise her independence, decrease her burden of care and minimise the risk of complications.
